In the shadows there lurked a hunter. One with a cut throat attitude and a tongue sharp enough to rival broken glass. Silent paws treaded on the dirt roads on Kensar, not a fiber of dirt clinging to the snow white fur of the she wolf. Hazel eyes gleamed in the darkness, reflecting the light that squeezed into the alleyway. It seemed as though the light itself was afraid to travel into the alleyway...hesitation fusing its feet to the ground.
Not that anyone could judge someone for not wanting to travel into the dark and winding alleyways. It was a place where crimes were committed and murder was drawn out of thin air. Screams were silent in these alleyways, so one who entered who did not have murder in their heart, most likely won't come out alive.
The gently chuckle of a sinister female echoed dully in the dark, the rich vibrations bouncing off the walls and chilling the shadows.
Not a soul in sight....what a pity.
Her talents were known and her skills paid for. Muscles contracted under sleek white fur, as long legs stretched forward.
Who's still afraid of the dark? I guess it's understandable if there is a wolf lingering about.
She often found herself here, the white hunter..camoflauged in the dark blanket of evil.

The silence was broken by a loud, rattling drawn out howl. It shook the very foundations of the alleyways, and trash and bones fell clattering to the ground. The message was very clear: Stop the panda. The sound reached the darkest corners of the alley, shattering broken glass and causing minute avalanches of dirt.
Barely conceivable through the ghastly noise came the sound of ragged breathing and pounding paws. Chink came hurtling down the alley ways. His breath was torn from his lungs. The message of the howl came clearly to him, it penetrated his inner conscious, was viciously drummed into his head. The howl proved that Koru was not dead. And that Koru wanted him dead.
Chink hardly even slowed down when Vetalini came across his path. "Outa me way, foxie!" He growled, miraculously able to remain in character. A close inspection revealed terror stricken eyes, the whites shining clearly in the dim light. His fur was soaked with sweat and every muscle in the red panda's body was tingling.

Vetalini stopped dead in her tracks when Koru's howl broke the surreal silence of the dark alleyways. Her snow white ears perked up, taking in her leader's command. Hazel eyes became alight with glee. Her suspicions of that panda were entirely correct. Now it was time for her to have her fun.
Immediately she set her nose to work, taking in the scents of the blowing wind. The mercenary's scent was still fresh from the meeting place, but it wasn't what she was looking for. Now, the white hunter smelled for fear. The animal was sure to be afraid now with entire Kingdom on its tail. She was dead silent as she paced through the darkness, but she stopped suddenly when she heard the sound of heavy breathing.
It was not a second later when Mr. Mercenary turned the corner, huffing and puffing. The creature looked as though he had already been in several fights, his coat dripping with sweat and dirt and his breathing irregular. A small smirk soon appeared on the female wolf's face.
"Well, well, well, look what we have here.." Her voice was drawn out, like a spider descending on a strand of silk. It was Vetalini's style to spin a web and then slowly kill the victims caught within.
"Leaving so soon?" Vetalini stood between the panda and under no circumstances was she to move. The King ordered him dead and that was an order Vetalini intended to fill.

Chink skidded to a stop, snarling the entire time. "Yeah, missie! I am leavin'! Yore stupit general is an idjit! Refuses tah pay me 'cuz the floopin' plan didnae work out! Ah'm trying Alhazer agin, and don' you try to stop me!"
The panda's breathing was coming out in short gasps and the whites of his eyes were quickly turning red. A deep, guttural roar formed deep in his chest as it became apparent that the snide white wolf was not going to move. All the anger and fear; all the suppressed emotions that had accumulated were released in the battle cry.
He hadn't planned on killing-let alone fighting-once he got here. This was supposed to be a simple, easy little spy mission, and look what it turned into! But now Chink just wanted to leave, to get out of Kensar as fast as his muscular little body could. Vetalini would rue the day she ever tried to stop Chink from escaping. Nothing was more deadly than a desperate spy.
After the battle cry faded away, Chink felt much better. He glared at the wolf defiantly, coldly calculating her entire form. It was like he was a deadly machine, showing no weakness. His muscles flexed like iron whips under his thick fur. After a moment of observation, Chink hissed. He lunged like a tiger after an injured deer at the wolf's throat.
Chink was pretty sure he wouldn't get away alive, much less in one piece. He focused all of his energy, all of his training on his opponent. He might not get away alive, but he could take a warrior down with him.

A light chuckle escaped her throat followed by a deep growl. If this panda wanted a fight, then he would get one that he would never forget. Tsk, tsk, little spy....next time don't mess with Kensar. There are no secrets here...
He certainly looked like a mess, the distorted sound coming from his throat not helping Vetalini's impression of him. He was a panda, and all they do is eat bamboo. That wouldn't help when it comes to fighting, especially a wolf.
Exposing her fangs, her upper lips curled and she growled a bit louder. Did she want others to come? The glory of taking down the Alhazarian would be nice, but this was her fight, and she didn't want anyone else to interfere.
When he lunged for her, there was no hesitating. With a powerful spring coming from her back legs, she met his force head on. A ferocious bark was shot from her mouth, ringing in the panda's ears. She didn't know what she was expecting, but and second she should feel fur. With fangs bared on both sides, they would meet in mid air. There was no doubt, a fight was about to begin.

The alleyways had once been quiet, shady places. Now with the brimming fight, thousands of small, underground creatures came scurrying to the surface to watch the gory battle. Many of the creatures probably hadn't eaten anything but trash for days and were excitingly awaiting the cooling flesh of the loser to dine on. Thousands of red beady eyes glowed from the garbage heaps. They were unnoticed by the combatants who were so wrapped up in their fight.
The two creatures connected with a clash. Chink started out right for the throat, the vital, though fragile, body part. The red panda's eyes were glowering in the midst of the battle and his heart rate rose to a frenzied pump. His attack was not as well calculated as he first believed, for the thick ruff of fur efficiently protected the throat. His bite resulted in a stifling, slimey, sour mouthful of white fur. Chink quickly released, but didn't do it soon enough. Several long white strands stuck in his mouth, which could cause problems with his breathing during the fight.
For the time being, however, Chink was able to ignore the fur. He leapt from the throat to Vetalini's face, that was not as thickly covered by the suffocating fur. Chink scrabbled with his claws viciously on Vetalini's face, hoping to gauge out an eye.

The force of the panda hitting her didn't seem to mess up her rhythm. His jaws tried to clamp around her neck, but all he accomplished was ripping out a few of her snow white hairs. Snarling, Vetalini contemplated the best way to finish him off.
It was her duty to her leader and her duty to her Kingdom to kill him. He was the enemy and she took no prisoners and showed no mercy.
Now the vermin was on her face, his claws slicing away at her cunning features. Growling, Vetalini thrashed her head in violent gestures, in hopes of flinging him off. Her eyes were shut tight and her fangs exposed. Snapping her jaws, she took thick panda hairs into her mouth....if she was lucky she would grab his tail.
Using her front leg, she swiped at her face as if she were scratching an itch on her nose. Under her skilled paw, she felt the mass of panda.

Sikimo growled as he felt the wolf's blunt paws and sharp jaws threatening to attach to his tail. He felt the cursed wolf pull some of his dust covered fur from his flank and, without flinching, dug his claws deeply into the bridge of the wolf's nose, hopefully distracting her long enough to make a break.
Even though the red panda's warrior blood was rushing through his veins, he knew deep down that unless he left Kensar immediately, he would never leave alive. His heart ached as he realized that Ashara was in danger--unless he could warn her of the spy. Sikimo hadn't learned much on this mission, the mission that turned out to be more dangerous than he had thought.
"See you in the battlefield!" Sikimo screeched, as he nimbly leaped above Vetalini's head onto a straw roof about him. Blood flecked from his fur, and with heart-breaking realization realized that his vision field was becoming frequently hazier.
Vetalini had scored his face and body well. So much for coming out of this unscarred... Sikimo thought to himself. He lurched to the right and curled up as tightly as he could in an abandoned chimney. He couldn't make it to Alhazer in his condition. All he could do was hope Vetalini was too distracted to notice where he was.
Blood flowing freely from his body, the hardened spy if he would escape this time. He was powerless to move from stiffened limbs and could only hope...
