Hey everyone! As you may already know, this is a site recommended for ages twelve and up, due to violence through posting. The following are rules set up and designed to help maintain a functional and acceptable site. This site is for rpers who are trying to improve their writing skills and consider themselves good rpers.
1. Posting Rule:
All post MUST be at least 5 sentences. This is to make sure that no one has to try and reply to a sentence that is pathetic. Also try not to put too many grammatical/spelling errors. These make things hard to read for people and impossible to reply to.
(ex.
BOB POSTS: Bob walked down the street and sat down on a log weighting for someone to come.) THAT was awful...please put something lengthier and check for spelling/grammar mistakes!
2. To check for spelling mistakes, you MUST use the spell check button before posting. This helps to make things more clear.
3. Foul language doesn't really matter to me. Just try not to say the F-word in every other sentence! XP
4. People...those of you that have the urge to post sex threads, please do so through PMing. I have had many sites before that get overtaken by these... >.< Yes, that's right...even animal sites... *shudders*
5. Try to respect fellow rpers. Fighting issues can be dealt with by PMing. PLEASE tell me if their is an issue going on between you and/or another player.
6. No Gdmoding. This means the following. Even if you have a Lion and your opponent has a mouse, there is to be not K.O. ing or unfair harm done.
(ex. BOB: Bob was running at Maria (the mouse) and hit her really hard. Maria was flung into the air and broke bones) This is unfair to Maria, who did not get a chance to post! Please do it like this:
BOB: Bob was running at Maria and aimed to hit her really hard. Hopefully he could crack a few bones.
Maria: Maria swiftly dodged Bob's attack (OR) Maria was hit by the oncoming blow and felt herself flung backwards.
There ya' go!
7. Signatures. On your signatures (if u have one) try to make sure that they aren't TOO big...I'll tell u if they are and then you can fix 'em!
8. No double posting! MY PET PEEVE! You double post I will have to tranquilize you...
9. Please try and keep one character to each account unless you are going to use the Color Code. The color code is a system in which (say you have two characters on one account named billy and jenny) you rp one character in one color and the other in a different color. Make sure to state which color goes with whom in your profile.
10. Warnings. Warnings will be given to those of you who break the rules. When three rules are broken a one week ban will be placed. If more than three, than an official ban will occur.
11. Admins do have power over other players. If an admin rps with one of your character, they do have the option for minor gdmoding. Little Billy the bunny cannot defeat a lion, people! This also makes it to where a character cannot defeat the queen or king without permission.
12. Wait until your profile is approved by an admin before posting. If your profile is not approved, DONT RP!
13. *new* No more 'ooc' posts in actual threads, unless you are an admin and something is wrong in the thread. You may leave 'ooc' notes in posts as long as there is actual rping in them as well
14. You may post in more than one location at once, just don't get too ahead of yourself. In other words, you don't need to tell me where your character is going... (ex: TO: Coro Mountains) You don't need that!
